Why explore multiple databases?
Don’t fall back on using the same old library database. Research broadly because:
- different databases hold different selections of journals
- databases can vary in their dates of coverage for a journal
- some databases will have full text of a certain journal; others may not
- some databases will have PDFs (so you can cite page numbers), while others will have HTML copies of articles
- a PFD of an article from one database may be searchable and easy to read; a PDF of the same article in another database may be a scanned copy that you can’t search and will have trouble reading
Take a look at the journals to consider.
Use a mix of databases and direct searches to get the most years and relevant journals.
